A photo from my dad: This is the music cabinet I made for my mom to go with her grand piano. It took me eight years to finish, but I finally gave it to her this past Christmas.

A photo every day for a year
I Can Do This
With the support of my family, I started my photography practice after being inspired and encouraged by some genuine friends - a philosopher of simplicity and his visionary wife. That was in January of 2009, at the same time she launched her "photo a day" blog project. I checked in to the blog regularly, and was fascinated by the range of images and impact the collection had.
Inspired by her success, this blog is my attempt at a photo per day for a year.
